Recognised European Valuer
Recognised European Valuer REV (TEGoVA) are valuers who are authorised to also use this recognised designation outside of Germany. Awarding takes place through member associations after the applicant successfully passes the examination concerning both their specialist and personal suitability. TEGoVA (The European Group of Valuers Associations) is a Europe-wide association of property valuers associations. The goal of this association is the establishment of Europe-wide standards in property valuation, the exchange of information between national associations, lobbying in European Union committees, the establishment of a uniform higher qualification for experts and their continual further training. The EUROPEAN VALUATION STANDARDS to be observed by REVs are summarised in the so-called "Blue Book", the fundamental content of which corresponds with that of the "Red Book" of the RICS (Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors).
